Purpose

Objectives

• Data collection processes to include observation and interview to collect information about the health, development, mental, emotional, and nutritional status of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Use appropriate screening, assessment, and evaluation instruments when evaluating the health and development of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Evidence-based strategies, treatment, and interventions for individuals with select intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families that address physical health, mental health, genetic health, development, education, and nutrition.
