MRC/TransnetYX, Inc. Automated Genotyping January 2009 the UT Molecular Resource Center (MRC) negotiated an agreement with TransnetYX to provide fully automated genotyping services to University of Tennessee researchers at a discounted price. TransnetYX has developed a proprietary technology and high throughput process for DNA extraction and analysis. Their automated genotyping service screens for transgenic, knock-in, knock-out, and single base changes in tissue using real time PCR. Results are reported electronically within 72 hours.
