PATIENT INFORMATION
The Department of Neurology offers the highest quality of clinical care for patients with neurological diseases. Consultative and direct care services are provided for patients referred from primary care physicians and other medical specialists, as well as, by direct patient contact. Department neurologists are all certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and all have subspecialty training in one or more areas of neurologic disease (see Clinical Services for physician names and subspecialty areas).
We welcome patients into our general neurology clinic and our subspecialty clinics listed below. In-patient services are provided at three affiliated hospitals, Methodist University Hospital, the Regional Medical Center, and the Veterans Administration Hospital of Memphis. Out-patient services are provided through the Semmes-Murphey Neurologic and Spine Institute, the University of Tennessee Medical Group, the Wesley Neurology Group, and the MEDPLEX at the Regional Medical Center of Memphis.
