APPLICATION PROCESS AND SELECTIONThe University of Tennessee, accepts up to 10 applicants per year through the National Residency Matching Program. The program is competitive, and solid academic credentials should be considered necessary prerequisites. Approximately 100 interviews are granted and are divided over 6-7 interview dates. Interview Dates for the 2009-2010 year are: October 29, 2009 Interested applicants should complete the AAMC Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) application. Deadline for applications through ERAS is November 30, 2009 at 10:59 CST. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered for an interview. Positions are offered through the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP). International Medical Graduate Requirements A complete application consists of the items listed above plus a valid ECFMG certificate. Please click on the following link for requirement details. Interviews Interviews are granted by invitation only and will be held late October 2009 through early January 2010.
