Collaborating FacultyVascular disease is clinically evident in multiple ways and affects different organs such as the eyes, brain, heart, kidney and extremities. As a result, it is necessary to coordinate the efforts of research scientists in all major areas of science. The Vascular Biology Center has been successful in developing collaborative efforts of the research of physicians and scientists from the following departments across the UTHSC campus and local institutions. Collaborating facuty of the Center gain access to special funding opportunities sponsored by the Center such as pilot, bridge and partnership grants.
